Paula Blower is a Brazilian writer and interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, WA. She studied Communication (Advertising) in Brasília and worked as an advertising writer before pursuing contemporary art at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro and the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Holding a degree in Fashion Design, she has exhibited in São Paulo, Amsterdam, and Madrid. Paula studies creative writing at Clark College, where she assists the Columbia Writers Series, and her fiction has won multiple 2025 Hawkins and McCordic awards.
