Classes

In 2015, Tin House Editor Emma Komlos-Hrobsky launched our first craft intensive, a term she coined based on her experience with “intensives” in the world of dance. Over the next decade, under the stewardship of India Downes Le Guin and now A.L. Major, our Craft Intensive program has welcomed thousands of writers through its doors. Taught by emerging and established authors from all over the world, our program is designed to inspire, spark curiosity, and help writers grow in their practice.

Classes are held online via Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account in order to participate. All programs are recorded and are available to participants for up to a month after the event. You are welcome to sign up even if you can’t attend live to receive the recording.

Scholarships are always available and held through a random lottery. Please contact info@mccormackwritingcenter with any questions.
