QQ Yang is a poet and essayist born in Guangzhou, raised in Texas, and until recently, based in New York City. Her work has been recognized by The New York Times and published in Black Warrior Review, Up the Staircase Quarterly, and elsewhere. She was a finalist in the 2026 Mississippi Review Poetry Prize and Witness Literary Awards. A former museum tour guide, she holds a BA in History of Art & Architecture from Harvard University.
