Mishma is a writer and translator from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is an MFA candidate at the Iowa Nonfiction Writing Program. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in BRINK, Bombay Lit Mag, Teen Vogue and elsewhere. She is currently working on a linked collection of surrealist fiction centered around the Sri Lankan Civil War.
