Lela Ruowei Yangni is a writer and tattoo artist from Brooklyn, NY. They recently completed their M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Vanderbilt University. They have received fellowships from Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, Aspen Summer Words, Kenyon Writers Workshop; as well as residencies from Blue Mountain Center, Sundress Academy for the Arts, and Vermont Studio Center.
