Galen Bunting’s writing has been published in Black Warrior Review, Minnesota Review, and Fabulist Magazine; his story “Watching Over Me” was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He is a Marion L. Brittain fellow in the Writing and Communication Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a PhD in English from Northeastern University. A 2026 Lambda Literary Fellow, he attended the 2026 Spring Young Adult McCormack Writing Workshop. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is finishing his debut novel, while working on a scholarly project about the First World War.
