Chii Ọganihu was born in Enugu, Nigeria. Their short fiction and poetry have appeared in McSweeney’s, Banshee, New Orleans Review, and elsewhere. Nominated for a Pushcart Prize, her work was also shortlisted for the 2025 Dream Foundry Writing Contest. Ọganihu is a Brooklyn Poets fellow, a writing fellow at Seventh Wave, and a fiction scholar at the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House Workshop). She has also received support from Off Assignment and Ubwali Magazine. Ọganihu is at work on multiple projects.
